GKC Explorer Squad

The GKC Explorer Squad program is our newest patch ride program. This program is to encourage members to attend an overnight GKC-sponsored ride.

The rules to earn this patch are as follows

1. Must be a GKC ride. Personal trips will not count.

2. Minimum of one (1) overnight stay. Rides with more than 1 night will only count as 1 ride.

3. Three (3) rides earn the patch. To keep consistent with the Slacker Patch and Paycheck Posse Patch.

GKC Hard Butt Mileage Program

This program is the local Chapter's annual mileage program. To participate, get the beginning mileage from your bike recorded on the back of your local membership card. This needs to be done by a Chapter officer. In October when memberships are renewed, get the ending mileage recorded and turn in your card. All cards must be turned in by the end of October of each year to qualify for a patch/rocker.

Riders completing 5000 miles or more from October to October, will receive a patch with rocker recording the rider's mileage. Rider's completing more then 10,000 miles will have the same rocker with mileage recorded but it will be a different color.

GKC Slacker Patch Rides

Are you a slacker? This patch program is for those who ride on an official GKC Slacker Ride as least three times. Each time you ride on a "Slacker" ride, get the back of your membership card marked and once you have three rides, you get a Slacker patch.

If you participated in the Slacker rides and already have your patch, don't worry. If you ride on three official Slacker rides this year and get your card marked each time, you will earn a star for your patch.

Remember that a slacker ride is an impromptu ride conducted through the week. These are usually day rides.

GKC Paycheck Posse Patch Rides

Those of us who still have to work and can't take advantage of the Slacker Rides, this ride may be for you. A Paycheck Posse Ride will always take place starting from Blue Springs Harley after 6pm on a Monday through Friday. The ride can be a short trip to get ice cream or may be an enjoyable evening ride out into the countryside. The ride can be announced in advance or as an impromptu ride. When participating in the ride, get your membership card initialed by the road captain and once three rides have been completed within the current riding season, you will earn a “Paycheck Posse” patch. Paycheck Posse patches will be given out at the next GKC chapter meeting after it is achieved.

Only photos from GKC sponsored, events are to be added to the site. Please note, this is a private, family-friendly site, inappropriate photos are not to be added and will be removed.
